According to a VG247 source, Rockstar has brought in 2K Czech to help with the development of Grand Theft Auto 5. The studio has been working on GTA V for almost a year, assisting with cut scene animations and general gameplay.
2K Czech is best known for its work on Mafia II.
There’s still no release date set for GTA V.
After Rockstar announced Grand Theft Auto 5, fans have been trying to dig up any information possible on the title.
One fan could have found out some information on the main character. The fan found a currency match to what is on http://rockstargames.com for Grand Theft Auto 5.
It is from the first and only Native American featured U.S. paper currency in 1899, and it’s a $5 Indian Head Note that is extremely rare.
The usage of this currency could hint to the main character of GTA V being Native American.
Kotaku is reporting that their source has confirmed the rumors of GTA V being set in Los Angeles.
They were also told from multiple sources that there will be more than one playable character for Grand Theft Auto 5. This is not new to the Grand Theft Auto series as gamers were allowed to play as Niko Bellic, Johnny Klebitz or Luis Lopez in GTA IV (if you purchased the DLC’s).
Rockstar Games has not commented on this story concerning the setting and playable characters for GTA V.
