I am sure that as the launch for Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V), which still hasn’t been announced 
, you are reading more and more post of people saying that GTA V is going to suck and they are not buying it. This writing is not to tell you that because I am not quite there yet. What this writing is to do is to help prevent GTA V from being a failure. You see there is quite a bit of people who were upset with GTA IV, me being one of them, and if they make GTA V anything like GTA IV then there will be a lot of people no longer playing the Grand Theft Auto series.
Let me start off by saying there was things in GTA IV that I did like, but there is a lot of things that I hope they bring back from San Andreas into GTA V. It is not just me who wants this stuff or is upset with GTA IV, but almost everyone I talk to would also like this.
The first thing I hope they put in Grand Theft Auto V is a map like San Andreas. It was really big with plenty of places to go. But what I liked about it most was it satisfied everyone, there were city streets, country roads, and it had a lot of off road trails. It had a little bit of everything for everyone and I hope that they bring it back to GTA V.
The next thing people would like to see is the bring back of being able to hook up trailers, fly jets, parachute, tow cars, upgrade cars, all that fun stuff that people were disappointed wasn’t in GTA IV.
I hear a lot of people say that they would like to see Rockstar get the license to cars for GTA 5. Now I personally don’t care one way or another but a lot of people would like to see that. But what I don’t want to see is they spend so much money licensing cars that the quality of the game suffers because that is less money for the game its self.
Really to make a good GTA V game they have to not think about money. There have been a lot of people who got the feeling that Rockstar created GTA IV to where it would be quick to beat the game and then get bored and either have to buy a new game or buy downloadable content and that to me sucks. They need to focus on making the gamers happy because I don’t know about them but I would rather sell a lot of copies and know my gamers are happy then sell fewer copies and make more money. If they do that then Grand Theft Auto can be a long lasting series worth a lot of money. If they don’t then GTA will be a failure within one or two or more games.

when he said that i think he ment like sell a lot of copies but then people beat it quick so they have to download new content and that costs money, and also what i think will happen is people will start selling it back to gamestop if they dont like it.. thats how i bought my gta IV it was used and when i beat it and saw it was nothing like san andreas, i saw why it was used.
I’m in 2011, fall 2012, and I’m just beginning to have less stuff to do in GTA IV. the internet in gta 4 was huuuuge and now, I’ve so much play GTA 4 that I now know all the streets in the game. If you search enough you can find so stuff to do. I was a big fan of san andreas, with all these planes and different place (desert, forest, etc), but story is more realistic with the gta 4 style. A gangsta who know to fly plane, tank, etc. GTA 4 was awesome. MAN HOW DID THEY MADE ME SAD FOR ROMAN WHEN HE DIED !! XD

I’ve played every single iteration of grand theft auto, well, every one starting with GTA3. I do not see the defficiency with GTA IV. GTA IV was more focused, it could have been longer, but the characters were 3 dimensional, Think of all the characters you can remember from GTA IV, all that crap that people complain about, for instance, spray painting or Tagging, WTF?? go buy saints row 2. you want alot of area to “mess around” play world of warcraft. This is why movies suck now, because half the guys I know have friggin ADD and can’t follow a story that goes on longer than 5 minutes. GTA IV had very well developed characters and a plot that flowed with the storyline, I bet half the people that beat the game didn’t realize that (Possible Spoiler)…….That the platypus at the end is the same boat that niko arrived on. When I watch a porno, I don’t want a plot, but when I’m playing a game that is supposed to immerse me in the character and their life, I want a good plot more than anything else. Otherwise I’ll just go buy one of those generic insert character here First Person shooting. I’m not against bringing back some of the stuff, but for me GTA IV was the most enjoyable, albeit a bit short, GTA I’ve played. Niko was the best GTA “hero” by far and Roman just made it better, however, I probably did more character interaction than most, doing activities with friends. I achieved every achievement the game had, so yeah, I spent time doing the side missions. I’m not saying the previous ones were bad, but, I like to speak for myself and let it be known “everybody” does not feel as you do. Go ahead and flame me.

i think personally in gta v they should put in everything if not more than san andreas and atleast have 400 plus missions including side missions street races possibly some offroad trail races i dont know but make it superb so all these immature kids can stop complaining at eachother

Third off. I’ve read an article from this website saying that GTAV would cost $80M to develop. I think thats not right, for GTAIV itself is $100M. My guess is around $150M. They(Rockstar) will always improve, and throw more money into their projects. As the word says, we have to spend millions to make billions.
Fourth off. 2405, 2405, 2405. There are many 2405 in the trailer of GTAV. I just knew that Sam Houser, the one managing Rockstar, birthday is 24/05/1972. Now, by the year 2012, he’ll reach 40. Try adding 40 years to 1972. That will be 2012. What better way to celebrate a birthday then achieving fame of creating great games (and getting money) by releasing GTAV? Possible release date is 24/05/2012. Wait, that’s not all. Even the trailer of GTAV was released on the same date of disbarment of the biggest asshole on earth – Jack Thompson, the one who tried to banned GTA games. All of this a coincidence? To me, nope.
Fifth and last. GRAND THEFT AUTO SERIES WAS,WILL,AND NEVER, BECOME A FAILURE.

Carl Johnson i agree with all of your points. Rockstar always seems to be improving their games and that is why I’ve always been playing them. the point about the release date makes perfect sense as well. i think it would be amazing to be released on his 40th for that fact, its pretty cool, and then i get to have it earlier. Rockstar never has coincidences. there is always a hidden meaning with them.

i would second like to say that i didnt say i dont like GTAIV because i do and just like jhone i have played the game alot and yes i have found stuff to however not nearly as much stuff as in san andreas.
this articial was not about the story mode its self bucause i was pretty happy with the story mode it was a little sort but it was still good. and i do like a game with a story mode. my complaint is that after i beat the story mode i feel like there was nothing to do. (i count side missions as stroy mode even though they are not

well…..this the only game i’ve been waiting for and the only game that made me build a computer just for this….last time a gta title came out i was caught off guard…bought the game and couldn’t play it because of my hardware.
i spent 1400 pounds on the rig and im waiting for gtav to come out,even if its gonna cost 200 pounds i will still buy it…trailer looks awesome.
im 22 and still crazy about gta….many complained about gtaiv but i think is the best gta out yet and will probably play even after gtav comes out(rarely but will play it)
i don’t think there’s any other game to beat gta and probably never will…..played clones like saint row,driver san francisco,apb….none of them come close to gta!!!

listen peeps i work for rockstar games im realy not supposed to tell u these things cuz i might get fired but gta v is going to be way different from gta iv a whole new perspective and ur mane charecter is going to be tommy verceti and u will get to play with cj and 1 more thing very new to us all u will get to have pets and play around with and the swat when u have sixstars there will be attack dogs that might be fucked up to u guys but thats what makes us uniqe ohh i forgot u will get to fly airplanes again and the reason why my name is rider fo sho is because in san andreas i was the desingner for rider, peace out peeps !!!
Ok, GTA IV did not (completely) suck but for those of you that think it was the best or even great, you must be smoking crack all day or pounds of weed a week and whatever brain you had it has fried.
As far as GTA IV goes: graphics were great and the story line was really good. Thats it! GTA San Andreas: everything was great. Right, the graphics weren’t the best but lets not forget it ran on PS2. They did pretty damn well with them considering the size of the entire map and the enormous possibilities.
In conclusion, if GTA V doesn’t have great graphics and (AT THE LEAST) the amount of content as GTA San Andreas it will be an epic fail and I will be one of the first people who are tremendously disappointed and pissed off. Good day!
