Rumors have been circulating that Rockstar has been researching on locations around Hollywood since last year. This could lead to Grand Theft Auto V setting in Los Angeles.
There have been reports from reputable sources that Gilbert Gottfried and Robert De Niro will lend their voices to GTA 5.
There has been no official announcement from Rockstar concerning the location of GTA V.
Real world L.A? I don’t think so the GTA Universe has always been a parody of the USA itself. So putting real world L.A. in the game would change the face of GTA forever.
Besides I know thats Its gonna be Los Santos and not L.A. They’re just using real world names to cover up thats its gonna be back in San Andreas.
I hope it is set in San Andreas, the whole state not just Los Santos. Exploring and doing missions in country side and in the mountains were what made San Andreas fun for me. Also I wish they would just get rid of crappy physics and realistic game engine they did with GTA4. Just use the game engine they used in San Andreas and use something else like RDR graphic engine or L.A. Noaire for graphics.
Are any of the character like Phil Bell gonna make a guest appearance? Is there gonna be a return to Liberty City? Did Nico Bellic wind up in jail? Will part of the San Francisco Bay Area or Hawaii make it as part of the franchise?
Yea, San Andreas was really good, i would be pretty upset if it is only 1 city, but graphics these days takes space… maybe later they can make an expansion pack for San Fierro And Las Venturas to also be in the game with missions adding on to the missions of Los Santos!
I think we can look forward to lots of character cross over in the next game. There will be a refrence to Carl and Niko for sure, but unless the biker gang from EFLC comes to Los Santos (which is possible) than we wont hear from anyone else. Also maybe the character from gta III as he did spend time in GTA:SA racing carl.

It wouldn’t make sense 4 it 2 be in LA..they already made LA noire…which is in LA btw what r they gonna do,make the exact same city again in gtav? Or redo LA again n make it look entirely different?I highly doubt it jus sayin. I’m pretty sure it will be in vice city
I heard rumors of Vice City again, or possibly London, but LA? Haha, I highly doubt that, especially after the release of Midnight Club LA and LA Noire in the past 2 years.

Wow really guys? Watch the trailer again, it says, “VineWood” on a certain sign in the trailer, Vine wood is in Los Santos, and the place isnt called San Andeas, the hole place is Los Santos, and i know because i know a friend who knows some1 who works with Rockstar G.
